2+ years waiting

From the 5 point major to a long dry spell. Cami was showing well but had the mentality that, "I'm working for mom and Kelsey so there is no need to show off, they love me anyway." She was placing 1st and 2nd in her class and was getting Reserve Winner frequently but was unable to earn that Winners ribbon until we put a handler on her. Introducing... Monica Lamontagne. I met Monica when she was doing her college internship, she told me she showed dogs, which I kept in mind while showing Cami and being disappointed with the results I was getting. I talked to her at one of the dog shows and asked her if she would be interested in showing Cami for us. She agreed and then the work began. Cami spent some time with Monica learning to be a show dog and having to earn extra attention, and Monica learned how easy it is to groom short haired dogs.
