Dozer

Look at me, I'll be ready for the show ring when I am old enough.

I have her pinned, she will never escape!

Play Time

Before Babs went home it was play time in the kitchen. The pups love to play with and drag around a blanket. They are just like little children.

Barbara is now Babs and is the new owner of Chris Osborn and his family including his two children. Enjoy your new family Babs.

A favorite picture

Mark took this picture of me and Tiger Lily (Bat Girl) when we went to visit my parents. I love this picture, she is so sweet and looks so much like her mom.

One more left the nest

Saturday, Dillinger became the owner of Stephanie and her fiance Scott. And of course my camera battery died and I do not have a picture to upload to show off the proud owner and his family. Hopefully they will send me a picture and I can show them off.

This is the picture I took with my phone so it is a little fuzzy.

It's a bittersweet evening here, I sent three of my babies to their new homes. I am very pleased to present new owners:

Diesel (Superman) and Barlow (Wonder Woman) are new owners of Amberly Norris and her family.

Dixie is the new owner of Tobi and Gina Wallace and their children.

Looking for homes

I have two girls and now two boys who need homes. The handler could not take Superman now and so he is looking for a home too.

1. Wonder Woman, she is a fawn brindle and is very sweet.
2. Oracle/Barbara, she is a fawn with traces of black. One of our friends has been compared her color to a velour blanket.
3. Jack, he is a fawn and will only be going to a home that will be dedicated to showing him or allowing me to show him.
4. Superman, he was chosen by a breeder/handler as his show dog. Unfortunately the economy has taken a toll on everyone and he can no longer take him. Superman can go to a home that will love him either as a pet or a show dog.

We Love Boomer

Jack, Wonder Woman, and Oracle, play with Boomer our cattle dog. Since the puppies came home he has been their nurse maid. Any time they cry he runs to check on them and he enjoys running and playing with them in the yard. (Auntie Dori in the back)

Dixie hanging on to a leaf.

Red Foreman, will be living in Denver with his new owners. We have a name for him now! His new name is Dillinger (we are calling him Johnny while he is here).

Grumpy his name is now Jack. He is beautiful and we are looking for a home that will show him.

Batgirl, I am thinking her name will be Tiger Lilly. We are hoping my brother will take her and allow me to show her. If not I need to find a home that will be willing to show her.

Superman/DC, we are planning on him moving in with Tom Hansen who is a professional handler. He also used to breed Bullmastiffs, and is really impressed with this litter.

Wonder Woman, we are looking for a companion home for this girl. She is really sweet.

1st trip outside

We had our first shot on Wednesday so we get to go outside and have visitors now. Today was our first trip outside. The grass is fun and we love to pull weeds and chew on leaves. We didn't want to go back in the house but it was getting dark and chilly. Mom said we get to spend more time outside tomorrow!

Puppy Update

We are now at 8 puppies, we lost one sweet little boy. I have been up feeding puppies, they are growing and my sleep is deprived. They have all gained weight and are fat and happy. Cami is doing well, she has become a good momma. We have been trying to get her to spend some time with her family outside of the whelping box as she gets really hot and her behavior had become depressed. Since she has been spending some time away from the babies she has started to return to normal.

At this time, I have three puppies that I am looking at to have show potential. Two of them already have homes leaving one male that I would love to go to a home that would put him in the show ring. I will have to wait and see how they look as they keep growing.

And then there were Nine

The babies arrived this morning by way of c-section. All happy and healthy, Momma is doing well. She does not really care for her babies which could be due to the c-section, as the day has continued she has gotten better, we are hoping she will become a loving mother. On a side note... Our cattle dog is very attentive if he was a girl he would be a wonderful momma.

Last update before the puppies arrive!

Well, the doctor says there are only five puppies in there but I wouldn't be surprised if there end up being a few more. She has gained 20 pounds and that is a lot for only five puppies to be hanging out. Bullmastiffs carry their puppies in their chest as well as their belly and they don't x-ray the chest because they wouldn't be able to see anything there anyway. The vet told me I need to feed her more food so I have been offering her extra food during normal feeding times and through out the day, she just does not have the room to entertain more food in her belly.

Her whelping box is built, just need to get more newspaper to line it with. She has been in it several times and even brought her "baby" purple cow to the box. Now all that's left is washing bottles, buying goats milk and plain yogurt, and collecting a lot of newspaper.

Tuesday will be here before you know it...

Day 51

Cami, is hanging in there. Her breathing has become more labored, which makes sense because of the babies crowding her insides. She is uncomfortable and doesn't lay in one place for very long. Poor little girl. Only 11 days until the babies arrive.

With all these stripes it's hard to see that my belly is growing. It is, and I have an appetite that mom can't satisfy, I want to eat all the time.
